The electorate of Penrith has secured $448,054 in funding for a total of 11 infrastructure projects through the NSW Government’s 2025 Community Building Partnership Program (CBP).

The $41 million program ensures local organisations and not for profit organisations across the state have the facilities to support more vibrant and inclusive communities.

This year, the CBP grants will help bring to life a variety of projects across Penrith, including vehicles to support the community in transportation of residents and goods, school play areas and fields, resurfacing recreational facilities, accessibility furniture, sports equipment, and sunshade.

Member for Penrith, Karen McKeown OAM said:

“The State Government funds will deliver much-needed improvements to local facilities across a variety of local community organisations, sporting clubs and schools.

“It’s great to see this grassroots funding supporting local projects that make a real difference in Penrith.”

“After receiving an overwhelming number of applications, I congratulate all the organisations that applied and to those that were successful. I look forward to seeing the positive social, environmental, and recreational outcomes in our community.”
