Heritage in Penrith will benefit from the Minns Labor Government's record $8.65 million investment under the NSW Heritage Grants Program.

Historic sites across the region will share a total of $25,000 designed to restore and protect properties and sites for future generations.

The community is at the heart and centre of the program, with funding for conservation works and upgrades that will help improve public access and connection to heritage. They will also provide attractions for both locals and tourists.

The 2025-2027 NSW Heritage Grants Program is investing in 140 projects across the state, through several streams of grants:

Local Government Grants

  • $25,000.00 to Penrith City Council for Penrith City Council Heritage Conservation

Funding for the projects will protect and manage the community's heritage assets by providing a range of maintenance incentives, expert advice, and consultation for both Council and the wider community to contribute to good management, promotion, and conservation of heritage within our area.
